Littlehampton Town

League: Sussex County League
Nicknames: Golds, Marigolds
Formed: c. 1893
Stadium: The Sportsfield

In brief:

The Golds are currently in division 2 of the Sussex County League, but were once a force to be reckoned with in Sussex football. Littlehampton broke new ground in 1990/1, winning the County League championship (on the last day of the season) to go with the Sussex County League Cup, a place in the 1st round proper of the FA Cup and an appearance in the semi-final of the FA Vase (the only Sussex club ever to reach this stage).
